Sci-fi Prime time animation is an additional animation work aimed to highlighting the TV shows that currently screening on Sc-Fi Channel on schedule days. This 3D & 2D FX animation work is a 3D text visual play that needs to showcase the title names of the shows among other things.

Technical Info :
This additional animation work is a compositing of 3D animation and vfx assets with 2d fx animation on the get go. The 3D text is animated in Max including some 3D generated pieces of particles "shards". All rendered according to preferred glass shader in V-ray. Then composited it together with the 2d background plate and 2.5D effects assets done using a 3rd party AE plugin. AE 3D camera is used and animated in AE to gives illusion of depth and interesting viewing movement. Bit of colour grading for the final touch.
